Hiking the Alta Via N.2 of the Dolomites

The weather was crazy, but it only added to the excitement. Dan says "Marika was great - really enjoyed her." He was really amped after the slippery via ferrata. All the refugios were great. Manuel at Franz Kostner was really fun - we loved that place. All the other spots were warm and friendly as well. Starting at Utia de Borz was really special, such a beautiful inn. With maybe the exception of the second half of the first day's hike (due to the last minute itinerary change because of the un-melted snow patches on the original itinerary), we enjoyed all of it. The hike from Contrin (fun spot) to the end was really gorgeous. We beat the rain! Thanks again for all of your help. Next time we'll come later and check out Puez and Pisciadu!
