Trail running the AV1 of the Dolomites

The mountains were spectacular.  The routes worked very well - I did all of the extra routes you suggested.  I especially liked the long walk down Val Travenanzes, and what a climb from there!  Lagazuoi skies opened up on the morning I left, and the views really were spectacular.  I found the longer distances no trouble - I mostly hiked fast rather than running - though the days with extra long climbs (because of the extra routes you provided) were challenging.  

I was very happy with the rifugios, and the hotel in Cortina was great (I was initially concerned about its location on a busy road, but it was not noisy at night, the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent). 

The taxi service was very friendly and efficient.
