Dolomites, Italy, Feb. 11, 2011 – A world class photographer will team up with an imaging expert to lead a first-ever photo safari June 27-July 4 through the crown jewel of the Alps, Italy’s Dolomite Mountains. The 12-guest tour is sponsored by Dolomite Mountains srl (http://dolomitemountains.com/en/home.htm), an Italian company bent on proving that the adventure path reveals some of the most beautiful natural settings on earth. The nearly all-inclusive cost per person is €3,480.
Val Gardena and Alta Badia Vistas, agritourism, a working farm in the Ladino, high mountain villages and chairlift rides to displays of alpine flowers are a few of many settings.
The active sunrise-to-sunset 8-day/7-night itinerary includes, among others, regional cuisine and comfortable accommodations, roundtrip transfers from Venice’s Marco-Polo International Airport, and an ongoing hands-on technical seminar walking and working with Randy Jay Braun www.randyjaybraun.com who left his fine-art photography gallery on Maui long enough to fall in love with the Dolomites on a trekking adventure with local legend Karin Pizzinini, an equally accomplished photographer and multi-lingual trail guide and alpinist who will also accompany this adventure.
Together they created the pieces of the upcoming safari, inviting Julieanne Kost of Adobe who is senior digital imaging expert for Lightroom and Photoshop. She is the founder of http://www.jkost.com/, publisher of the Daily Photoshop Tip (http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/), author of “Window Seat – The Art of Digital Photography” and the host of “The Complete Picture”, a bimonthly instructional training program featuring Lightroom and Photoshop on Adobe TV.
