On this trip you visit some of the most incredible areas in the Dolomites on foot. We take the best of this fairy-tale setting – incredible scenery, gorgeous hotels and Rifugio and delectable cuisine – and we weave them together with great hiking.

Day 1 ~ Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Dolomites
Arrive on your own to the famous alpine village of Cortina d’Ampezzo and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, meet with a local Dolomite Mountains representative for a trip briefing.

Day 2 ~ Cinque Torri
Take bus or private transfer and explore World War I tunnels built into the hillside.
Hike to the base of the imposing Cinque Torre, a group of five famous stone pinnacles.
Afternoon to explore and shop in the chic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Day 3 ~ Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park
Hike into the beautiful Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park, a stronghold of the Ladin language. Overnight at a charming family owned rifugio in a remote valley.

Day 4 ~ Croda Rossa Traverse
A rewarding panoramic day crossing the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Park under the Croda Rossa massif to Prato Piazza – a perfect place to sleep after a long hike.

Day 5 ~ Tre Scarperi
Hike to through meadows and woods under the Baranci group towards Rifugio Tre Scarperi situated in the Campo di Dentro Valley overlooking the Val Pusteria with its little towns like San Candido and Sesto.

Day 6 ~ Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Circumnavigate the stunning pillars of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Monte Paterno, one of the most scenic mountain landscapes in the Dolomites. Overnight in a rifugio and enjoy the superb sunsets.

Beautiful hike to Lago di Misurina another superb landscape of the Dolomites. Afternoon to for last minute shopping in Cortina.
