Visit Monte Croci di Comèlico Pass

The area of Monte Croci di Comèlico Pass, or Passo di Monte Croci di Comelico, is made up of two main valleys, the valley of the Padola torrent and the upper section of the Piave River.  It’s quite a picturesque location, encircled by the towering Dolomites and the nearby Carnic Alps and covered by sweeping meadows and forest land.  In the north, this pass begins the long, beautiful border crest that ends on the Peralba Mountain.

The Passo di Monte Croci di Comelico is ideal for sightseeing and photography treks, as it leads into some of the most wild and beautiful terrain and into Dolomiti di Sesto.  This natural and untouched territory belongs to neighboring South Tyrol, an area rich with tradition and history and is protected by a regional park.  If the incredible nature isn’t enough for you, there are also plenty of nearby spas and other tourist stops to enjoy in the area.
