ITINERARY
Trip itinerary may vary based on weather conditions, fitness levels and climbingabilities of participants, and/or the recommendations of your guide.
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival at Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Meeting with Dolomite Mountains representative and briefing of the trip.
…B&B in Cortina d’Ampezzo or Alta Badia
Day 2 – Climbing introduction at Cinque Torri or Falzarego Pass
The Cinque Torri are known as the perfect playground for climbers in the Dolomites. From easy to difficult routes you can find everything within few meters. This allows every climber to choose the right route and to learn the basic climbing techniques or to climb on more difficult but short routes to warm up for the next day.
The Falzarego Pass (between Cortina and Alta Badia), offers plenty of south-facing mid-grade routes; with short easy approaches; uncomplicated descents; and solid, well-protected routes.

Day 3 and 4 –Classic Routes in the Dolomites
Depending on the groups climbing level, the weather etc the guide will decide which route to climb today.
Tofana di Rozes Group
This compact group is known for some of the best via ferrata in the Dolomites, and on a fine weekend there are hundreds of enthusiasts scampering over these wild routes. The area also has a large number of ruins of fortifications that date from World War One. There is also great climbing here, as well.
Tre Cime di Lavaredo
This famous area is justifiably popular with climbers of all abilities. Some of the hardest routes in the area are found here with such landmark climbs as the Comici Route on the North Face of the Cima Grande, first climbed in 1933. Fortunately, climbers don't need to venture onto such intimidating walls to have a good time. There are a good number of more moderate climbs, and some even on the warmer south faces. In this area can be found, the Mosca Chimneys on the South Face, the Dülfer route on the West Face and the Spigolo Giallo (Yellow Edge).
Sella Towers & Piz Ciavazes:
Short approaches, easy descents, well-protected routes and the verticality of the Towers and surrounding walls very impressive.
Near the Sella Pass is the Sassolungo area, where the routes are a much more serious undertaking and have an "alpine" experience about them.
