Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo (1,224m / 4,016') on your own and check into your hotel (private transfer available on request). Cortina d’Ampezzo is a charming alpine resort town surrounded by stunning peaks, uniquely sheltered from the cold winds of the north, giving it a pleasantly mild climate that tourists can enjoy year-round. Host to the 1956 Winter Olympics, and the forthcoming Milano Cortina Winter Games in 2026, Cortina enjoys a reputation for great skiing in winter, and in the summer attracts hikers and climbers who challenge the rocky faces of the nearby mountains. This chic alpine town also caters to the high society crowd, offering many year-round social activities, shopping, and fine dining.

You’ll have the opportunity to discuss where you’ll ski this week, and everyone’s skiing interests and abilities. Whether you and members of your family are beginner/intermediate on-piste skiers or advanced off-piste skiers, this itinerary can be adapted to the groups’ skill level, and is customizable for a wide variety of abilities.
Today you will discover the resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo. With 140 kilometers (87 miles) of slopes and 42 lifts, this area offers some of the most exhilarating and beautiful alpine ski runs in the world. Well-known all over the world as host to the 1956 Winter Olympics, Cortina will co-host the 2026 Winter Games with Milan. Ski in the Faloria and Cristallo area, and choose from 24 pistes (5 black runs, 11 red runs, 8 blue runs) with a total of 44 kilometers (27 miles) of slopes. You can even check out the Vitelli slope where the men’s giant slalom races were held during in 1956! Throughout the resort, you’ll be treated to a stunning view over the Ampezzo Valley, and taste the excitement of being completely surrounded by a UNESCO World Heritage Site! In the afternoon, a private transfer will take you to the town Sesto/Sexten Dolomites.

A real snow paradise awaits you at easternmost resort of the Dolomiti Superski area, Alta Pusteria, set at the foot of the largest natural sundial made up by five Dolomite peaks: Cima Nove, Cima Dieci, Cima Undici, Cima Dodici and Cima Una. Here 82 kilometers (50.9 miles) of marvelous slopes with 31 lift facilities turn the breathtaking mountain world of the Dolomites of Sesto into a purely enjoyable experience for everybody from beginners to experts alike. Demanding skiers can choose the Holzriese slope, Italy’s steepest prepared slope and known as one of the steepest descents in the entire Alps chain, or the Raut slope at Monte Elmo, one of the most beautiful red slopes (medium difficulty) in the Dolomites, with fast and driven curves. Moreover, it is a popular place for spending tobogganing, skiing evenings and, at the Croda Rossa, children are surrounded by giant snowmen and rain deer and feel like in a winter tale!

In the morning, wear your ski gear and take the direct ski train from Versciaco (ticket not included), a fast and modern train service that connects the ski resorts of Sesto/Sexten to Plan de Corones/Kronplatz in less than 40 minutes, from piste to piste! Kronplatz is a popular destination for skiers, with its majestic 2,275-meter (7,464') peak standing out from the surrounding mountains. On the top of a wooded area, along the south side of the Pusteria Valley, it offers a 360-degree panorama of the entire surroundings. 105 kilometres (65 miles) of pistes and 31 modern lifts, its slopes will take you towards Riscone (Brunico), San Vigilio di Marebbe, Valdaora, and Perca. In the afternoon, reach the town of San Vigilio di Marebbe and take the final cable-cars to Piculin, where a private taxi will await to tak you to Alta Badia, your next destination in the Dolomites. Located in a large valley surrounded all around by the gorgeous peaks of the Dolomites, Alta Badia is truly the “heart of the Dolomites.” Geographically in the South Tyrol (Südtirol), this area was part of Austria prior to the First World War. Here you’ll find unique mountain scenery with villages rich in natural beauties and ancient traditions, witness the simple everyday life of the local people (the “Ladini”), as well as the customs and traditions of the ancient Ladin culture.

Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano, Badia and La Val are the famous names of the towns of Alta Badia that represent the cradle of the Dolomites winter tourism. Alta Badia is located between 1,400 and 2,700 meters (4,593-8,858') above sea level and this altitude ensures optimal ski conditions throughout the winter, and offers breath-taking views of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. Fast and comfortable ski lift connections (53 total), miles of wide, well-groomed slopes (130km / 81 miles), and the spaciousness of the ski area allow you to enjoy pleasant and safe skiing days. Children can spend time at one of the many ‘Fun Parks’ on the pistes, boasting snow tubes, slides, sledges and much more! Charming mountain huts and first class mountain restaurants round out the appeal, making Alta Badia a ski area for connoisseurs. You will have the opportunity to venture on the famous World Cup slope of Gran Risa or on the more relaxed slopes of Piz La Villa, Gardenaccia and Santa Croce.
Try the traditional Ladine specialities or even lobster, served in the many rifugios on the slopes. Thanks to the Ladine, Tyrolean, and Mediterranean influences this area has developed a unique and extremely varied cusine.

The Sellaronda Ski Tour is one of the most fantastic spectacular ski tours in the world, circumnavigating the Sella Massif. Considered somewhat of a “merry-go-round” for intermediate level skiers, this unique circular connection of lifts and runs was once the only way the ancient inhabitants of the Ladin villages could maintain a connection with each other. Nowadays it’s a modern day carousel that connects four Dolomite passes and four Ladin valleys (Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, and Arabba).
Today you will be skiing a portion of the SellaRonda circuit and experience an unforgettable night at a cozy  Rifugio on the mountain, an experience that should not be missed from your visit to the Dolomites.

Today you will discover the second portion of the Sellaronda circuit, but keen skiers can test their skills at the Marmolada Glacier. From your Rifugio ski to the town of Arabba, take the Porta Vescovo cable car and continue through slopes and lifts to Malga Ciapela, where you'll find the first of the three cable cars taking you up the Marmolada Glacier. Known as the “Queen of the Dolomites,” Marmolada is the highest peak and the only sizeable glacier remaining in these mountains. The ski area of the Marmolada, the imposing mountain dividing the region of the Bellunese from the region of Trentino, and reaching a height of 3,342 meters (10,965'), is one of the most scenic of the Dolomites. The Marmolada ski area offers wonderful intermediate and high difficulty ski slopes on the glacier, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The ski runs are well groomed and run down the glacier towards the valley, and the highest point of the ski area is also the starting point of one of the most beautiful ski runs of the Alps: La Bellunese. Besides alpine skiing, here you can practice also off-piste, cross-country, and ski mountaineering.
At the end of the day, return to Alta Badia and take a private transfer to Cortina D’Ampezzo for your last night in the Dolomites.
