Rifugio Sassopiatto / Plattkofel Hutte

Rifugio Sassopiatto is set on a large pasture at the foot of Sassopiatto (2,958m / 9,704'), with an excellent view of the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm in German), the largest high altitude alpine meadow in Europe. Accessible to hikers and mountain bikers, the hut has accommodations for 60 guests. Meals include a choice of regional dishes – all made with local farm products, including vegetables from their garden, wild herbs, and local meats.
