Trip Overview

Are you ready for an unforgettable e-biking tour that’ll take your breath away? If you’re short on time but craving an epic experience, this five-day guided adventure through Val di Fassa and the Alpe di Siusi is the perfect choice. You’ll discover the awe-inspiring beauty of the Trentino region and learn about the Ladin people's hard work and dedication to preserving their pristine alpine environment.

The tour begins in the magnificent Val di Fassa, a lush valley surrounded by some of the most famous peaks in the Italian Alps. From here, you’ll ride an electric mountain bike on a spectacular high-altitude loop around the towering Sassolungo and Sassopiatto massifs. The pedal-assist technology on your e-bike lets you conquer the challenging alpine trails and steep gradients so you can completely focus on the scenery.

As you ride onto the Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau, you’ll be mesmerized by the sun-kissed peaks and green pastures. You will cycle past crystal-clear springs and vibrant wildflower meadows at the foot of the Sciliar rock walls, which soar to 2,563 meters (8,409 feet). The tour then takes you through the lush Val Duron, famous for its striking volcanic rock formations, and over the legendary Passo Costalunga at 1,752 meters (5,748 feet), a route frequently utilized in the mountain stages of the famous Giro d'Italia bike race.

Each day, you’ll experience new terrain and astonishing views, with plenty of opportunities to fuel up on hearty lunches at traditional mountain huts, and in the evenings, enjoy the unique and welcoming atmosphere of excellent hotels and an authentic mountain rifugio. Contact our team and find your path through the heart of the Dolomites.

You can complete all of our biking itineraries with either a mountain bike or an e-bike. The choice is yours!

Want to learn more about our Mountain Inns & Rifugi?
Rifugios – or mountain huts in English – are the classic accommodation for hikers, climbers, mountaineers, and ski mountaineers in the Alps. Set in spectacular locations high in the Dolomites, rifugios are accessible only on foot (with a few exceptions that are reachable by car). These marvelous establishments are open primarily in the summer, with a select few in winter, and offer meals and sleeping facilities.

The Dolomite rifugios are considered the best in the Alps. While some are dormitory style with bunk beds, many meet the standard of a simple guest house with private rooms and en-suite bathrooms, and each has its own unique character and charm. Bedding and linens are provided, hot showers are available, and meals are served in common dining areas – like a small mountain inn set high in the mountains with the most incredible vistas in the Dolomites. Whether you’re hiking in summer or skiing in winter, an overnight rifugio stay is not to miss on a Dolomite holiday.
