Situated at 240m / 787’, Bolzano is the capital of South Tyrol (known as Südtirol in German and Ladin, and as Sudtirolo or Alto Adige in Italian).

In the morning, meet your local English-speaking professional bike guide. Cycle from Salorno along the scenic Wine Road bike path, with a stop in Magrè to visit Europe’s oldest vine and explore a biodynamic winery. Continue on to Tramin, where you can choose to visit the local wine museum, before heading towards Lake Caldaro / Kaltern.
Make your way up to Castelvecchio for a panoramic lunch stop, then cycle through the charming town of Caldaro. From there, enjoy a scenic descent toward Bolzano, where your ride ends surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking mountain views.

Depart from Bolzano and follow the Wine Road bike path, cycling through picturesque vineyards as you ascend toward St. Paul’s. From there, turn toward Nalles, a charming village nestled along the route to Merano.
In Nalles, you have the option to either climb or walk up to Katzenzungen Castle, steeped in medieval charm. After exploring the castle, stop at a local restaurant for a delightful lunch break.
Following your visit, descend back to Nalles, where you can enjoy an optional wine tasting at a local winery. The final stretch takes you gently along the Adige Valley cycle path, leading you all the way to Merano, a relaxing end to a culturally rich and scenic ride.

In the morning, take the Vinschgau train to Malles and climb up to the Marienberg Abbey. Afterward, descend along the scenic Val Venosta / Vinschgau cycle path, stopping for a lunch break along the way. In Castelbello, enjoy an apple tour, where you’ll have the chance to sample local produce.

Reach Bolzano by train and begin your ride along the Eisack Valley, following the scenic bike path that runs through the entire valley. Once you arrive in Ponte Gardena, you’ll have the option to visit Castel Forte for a short break before continuing toward Chiusa / Klausen.
In Chiusa, stop for a relaxing lunch and, if you’d like, take a 45-minute hike up to the Monte Sabiona monastery. Afterward, return to Chiusa and continue along the bike path toward Bressanone / Brixen, where your ride comes to an end.

Start from Bressanone / Brixen on the bike path entering the Pustertal valley, and reach the village of Rio Pusteria. Continue toward Brunico / Bruneck and stop in the village of Chienes for a visit to a local pine distillery. Afterward, cycle to your lunch spot and then continue to Brunico, where a private transfer will take you back to Bressanone.
