Trip Overview

Experience an exhilarating six-day journey through Italy’s majestic Dolomites, where your family will hike mountain trails, climb via ferrata, bike scenic routes, and raft rivers! The breathtaking UNESCO landscapes from Cortina d’Ampezzo to Alta Badia set the stage as you launch from one epic day to the next. Your days will be full of action-packed adventure, and in the evenings you’ll relish the comfort of small hotels nestled among the surrounding peaks. Think cozy, wood-paneled bedrooms and big fluffy duvets, making for a perfect end to the day!

Your journey begins in the chic Venetian town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, where you’ll spend your first two nights. From here, you’ll set out on mountain bikes to follow an old railway line through the Val di Landro. The route offers incredible vistas of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Cristallo mountain group. You’ll cross the Cimabanche pass, the highest point of the ride, before descending toward emerald lakes and historic frescos. The adventure continues in the world of climbing. You’ll learn to master a via ferrata on the south face of the Col dei Bos pyramid, leading you to one of the highest rifugios in the Dolomites, where you’ll spend a night under the stars. Then, you’ll walk through the Galleria del Lagazuoi, a fascinating open-air museum where World War I tunnels and trenches are carved directly into the rock. On the fourth day, you’ll hike to Alta Badia surrounded by stunning views of the Cime di Fanis, hop on a Gondola up to the Piz Sorega ridge, where you’ll enjoy exceptional panoramas of the Western Dolomites, and then visit the charming town of San Cassiano. The final day of this extraordinary adventure will have everyone navigating rapids on a gripping (literally) white-water rafting trip on the Rienza River.  So, bring everyone together. It might be for the ultimate family vacation or an exhilarating work retreat; regardless, we are sure everyone will bond over this unforgettable multi-sport mountain adventure. And, it’s suitable for all ages! Book today or talk to our team for more information.
