Trip Overview
Follow winding trails across the Gardenacia plateau, where each turn reveals breathtaking views over Val Badia and the dramatic Sass de la Crusc. Continue along the Alta Via 2, one of the most picturesque long-distance trails in the Dolomites, celebrated for its beauty and rugged charm, as you venture deeper into the renowned Puez-Odle Nature Park. From here, Val Gardena opens below like a secret waiting to be discovered, offering incredible views over Alta Badia and its surrounding peaks — including Conturines, Lavarella, Tofane, Pelmo, Civetta, and the imposing Marmolada.
Traverse the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park and reach the iconic Seceda plateau, famous for its soaring spires and stunning vistas. Discover a quiet, lesser-traveled trail leading to the charming village of St. Peter — a peaceful, authentic corner of the region — and enjoy a scenic hike along a section of the Dolorama Trail, one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful long-distance routes, offering spectacular views over unspoiled landscapes.
This is Mother Nature at her finest, and as you move from hut to hut, immersing yourself in the South Tyrolean way of life, you’ll be amazed by the unique and cinematic landscapes of the Dolomite Mountains.
