Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm / Mont Sëuc is the largest high altitude alpine plateau in Europe, ranging in elevation from 1,700 to 2,000 meters (5,577-6,562'), giving you a front row seat for viewing the Dolomites. The Alpe is dominated by an ancient coral reef known as Sciliar / Schlern massif, at whose base volcanic intrusions have encouraged a lush pasture carpeted with an unbelievable range of wild flowers, fed by plentiful natural springs and streams that drain off the mountain. As if piercing the sky, the vertical walls of the Sciliar / Schlern Massif (2,563m / 8,409') that strike forth perpendicular in front of you are simply spectacular! The first time you lay eyes on this will surely be an unforgettable moment.

Enjoy a clockwise loop around Mount de Bulacia. In the early summer (June-July), the fields are at their best with colorful blossoms and pastures. Hike along the footpath to the Goller Kreuz and the witches' benches; two enormous stones of red porphyry are on the western side of the rock. The tour leads on to the Filln Kreuz with spectacular views of the Gardena Valley and the hamlet of Bulla on the gentle valley side of Ortisei.

In the morning, check out of your hotel and take a private transfer to Fie' allo Sciliar, a charming village at the foot of Alpe di Siusi, known for its lakes.
But the day's highlight is a visit to a local coffee factory, a real treat for coffee lovers! At the factory's museum you can discover everything there is to know about coffee.
In the afternoon, your driver will take you to the colorful village of Ortisei in Val Gardena for a leisurely stroll through the pedestrian zone in the town center.
Ortisei is the main village of Val Gardena / Gröden, set in a beautiful valley between the slopes of the Rasciesa High Plateau and the steep, wooded slopes of the famous Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm. Home to three cultures – Italian, Austrian, and the native Ladin, most signage in Val Gardena is written in three languages – Italian, German, and Ladin!

Meet your driver and take a scenic drive to Alta Badia, the next valley. Reach your hotel and enjoy a late afternoon soak in the hotel's Wellness Center. Dinner is included in your hotel's restaurant.

Today you’ll hike to the Santa Croce Sanctuary at the base of the Sasso della Croce (Sass dla Crusc for the Ladin-speaking population), passing through a number of closely knit hamlets formed of clusters of ancient shingle-roofed timber farmhouses and barns known as viles. Continue walking through the pine forest with great views of the Santa Croce, Conturines, and Sella mountain groups as well as the towns of La Villa, San Cassiano, Corvara, Pedraces, and San Leonardo—all part of the Val Badia. Along the way there are a couple of steep ascents. It takes about two hours to get to the church and sanctuary of Ospizio S. Croce (2,045 m / 6,709’).
