Riva del Garda is a popular destination on Lake Garda and located in the most dramatic part of the Lake, the northern side, with mountains rising on either side or vertical cliffs. After Desenzano, Riva is the second largest town on the shores of the lake but it has a very different atmosphere, lively and outdoorsy. A pleasant base where tourists can stroll along winding streets and relax in waterfront squares. Riva's neighboring towns of Torbole to the east and Arco to the north are also especially loved by windsurfers, kitesurfers, and rock climbers. Riva boasts superb scenery, elegant parks, and a long lakeside promenade, the perfect starting point to explore Lake Garda.

Today’s moderate hike takes you to Punta Larici (907m / 2976'), a dramatic ragged peak and an extraordinary lookout point located on a prominent position on the east side of the lake, above Lake Garda. The views from Punta Larici sweep eastwards across the lake toward the town of Malcesine and the Monte Baldo mountain range and southwards toward the towns of Sirmione, Salo', and Garda.

Next you’ll check-out the ferrata equipment you will use for your exciting day climbing via ferrata. Before departing this morning, your guide will give you a lesson on via ferrata climbing technique, equipment use, and safety.

In the morning, take a private transfer to the Brenta area and enjoy the afternoon relaxing or discovering and hiking.

Today’s loop hike winds at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and leads to the beautiful waterfalls of Vallesinella.

Today’s loop ride will take you to the most charming Malghe (or Alms in English) around Madonna di Campiglio, along gravel roads, single track paths and portions of asphalt roads. A Malga is essentially a mountain barn for livestock used in the summer months. Herds graze freely on pastures near the stables and are milked twice a day, early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Some of the best cheeses and dairy products are made in these Alms, most of which are open to the public from June to September, offering the opportunity to taste home-made dishes, fresh yogurt, cheese and mouth-watering desserts.
Today you will tour the entire valley in search of the best known Alms in the area and their incredible dairy-based dishes. You won’t want to miss any of them, therefore consider it a full day excursion!
