A Taste of ‘La Dolce Vita’ in the Veneto Region: History, Vespa & Prosecco Culture

Experience five days of wild and free Vespa touring through the Prosecco hills of the Veneto, from Follina to Asolo, with two days riding the UNESCO-listed wine roads between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a WWI mountain pass, a red-rock canyon, and a private tour of three medieval villages.

Trip Overview

This is a five-day guided Vespa journey through the Veneto's Prosecco hills, where the vineyards run from the Dolomite foothills to the Adriatic plain.

The journey begins in Follina, a charming village located along the Strada del Prosecco, which lies halfway between Venice and the Dolomites. Here, 12th-century Cistercian monks established a wool industry that thrived thanks to the local water supply, and today, elegant 17th-century palazzi still grace the streets. You'll enjoy a two-night stay at a luxurious 5-star hotel, complete with a Prosecco tasting in the courtyard and a gourmet dinner on your first evening.

You'll ride a Vespa through the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring over 120 kilometers (75 miles) of winding roads that connect wine cellars, farmhouses, and medieval villages. You’ll also have the opportunity to hike the Brent de l'Art canyon, a stunning red-rock gorge carved by the Ardo River, and the option to continue your adventure by ascending Mount Visentin and then descending to Santa Croce Lake.

You'll drop off your Vespa and transfer to Asolo, a medieval hill town with steep winding streets and a castle overlooking the surrounding hills and Monte Grappa, and spend two nights at a hand-selected 5-star hotel here.

A local English-speaking guide will lead you on a private tour of Asolo, Marostica, and Bassano del Grappa—three of Veneto's best-preserved medieval villages. While all three feature castles, they each possess their own unique character: Asolo is known for its charming hillside streets, Marostica is renowned for its living chess game, and Bassano boasts a picturesque covered wooden bridge designed by Palladio.

This experience embodies la dolce vita at a leisurely pace. Contact our team to plan your Vespa adventure through the Prosecco wine region.
