Immerse yourself in Alto Adige – the South Tyrol region of the Dolomites, the Italian Alps. This area of Northern Italy offers an enchanting combination of German traditions and Italian flair, with a history that is as fascinating as the peaks found here are beautiful. From the Roman Empire, a seat as a Catholic Bishopric, Austro-Hungarian Rule, and Italian Annexation, it is perhaps one of the most fascinating and layered histories in Europe.
