Hiking from Alta Badia to Cortina d'Ampezzo, June 2016

To break it down:
-Richard was a terrific guide - informative and good company.
-Hiking route and map was well planned with variety and wonderful scenery. Map was easy to follow. Route seemed thoughtfully chosen to maximize fabulous views.
-Both rifugios were great. Dinners were appealing and of good quality.
-The hotel in La Villa was wonderful. Meals were delicious and room was great - comfortable, good size, great view from balcony.
-We really appreciated having the bus schedules that were highlighted.
-Taxi was easy to call and came quickly and was comfortable car and driver was friendly
-Packing list was great - especially the advice about having hiking sticks.

If I had to do it again:
-Would have stayed in another 1-2 rifugios and had fewer hotel nights.
-Would have stayed at a different hotel in Cortina. The one we stayed at was too loud (near a traffic circle) and not really our style - would have liked more simple, modern furnishings.
-Would have loved some advice that travel on a Sunday afternoon from Cortina to Munich might have bad traffic - drive took 8 hours instead of 4 - at least 2 hours waiting to merge onto Autostrada. We might have driven Sat. night or very early Sun. morning instead.

We had a great time and feel very lucky to have found Dolomite Mountains to arrange our fantastic trip for us.
