Hiking from Cortina to Alta Badia, Sep 2016

 We are so lucky to have had this opportunity to do a self guided 5-6 day backpack in the incredibly scenic Dolomites.    This was a last minute decision we will never regret.  Your company and American counterpart provided a very smooth itinerary.   Map and instructions worked for us!   We learned to pay close attention to trail markers especially the ones painted on rocks.  Weather was perfect for early September 2016.   Accommodations were excellent.   Only wish was that Refugio Col Gallina had hooks in bathroom and in the small room that has 10 bunks; we had packed one.   Very cramped quarters for gear.   The best was Rifugio Prolangia; we were pampered in this scenic elegant lodge. My husband's birthday too.    Food at all refugios was outstanding and plentiful.   Eye popping views on the gondola down to Corvara; only way to go after bouldering through Sella Massif.   We had a very friendly taxi driver in Vico; we 3 talked the hour long drive to Cortina.
