Francesca Zambelli

Francesca Zambelli, born in 1980 in the vibrant city of Milano, has her roots in the pretty town of Belluno. Today, she resides in the breathtaking Selva di Val Gardena. Francesca studied Philosophy and Communications in Venice and Feltre. During summer camp in Auronzo di Cadore when she was 12, Francesca first felt the pull of the mountains. Walking through the stunning Cadini di Misurina and experiencing the magic of nature, she became aware of her calling. In 2018, she followed her passion by becoming a guide. She is a certified AMM hiking guide, completing her certification in 2020. She then later obtained her UIMLA status in March 2023. Her guiding experience spans hiking, trekking, and skiing, where she loves to share her enthusiasm for the mountains. Among her favorite places in the Dolomites are the Alta Via n. 1 and Alta Via Carnica hiking routes, as well as the Pichl route to Sassolungo, which showcase the region's incredible beauty. Francesca has traveled extensively beyond Italy to fascinating destinations such as India, Perù, Brazil, Turkey, and Europe. However, she considers the Dolomites her true home, advocating for their unparalleled beauty and the magical atmosphere that surrounds them. In her downtime, you'll find Francesca swimming, running, and spending time with her dog. She values simplicity and believes in living it fully, even when it comes to her favorite food, Canederli, a dish rich in traditional yet simple flavors and simply delicious!
