Matteo was born in Bolzano, and raised just outside the city. He has worked in travel his entire career, at numerous international hotels and resorts and for tour operators.  In 2006, Matteo opened his own business, offering travel consultant services in hotels, taxi services, and serving as a bike and environmental excursion guide, ultimately focusing on high-end personal concierge services. Although Matteo was raised near the city, when he was young, his parents took him to many of the peaks of the Dolomites, and he became a true mountain lover. In 2017 this influence took hold of his career, and he earned his UIMLA hiking guide qualification. Matteo is an avid cyclist, and when he is not on his bike, he enjoys climbing via ferratas. Today, he seeks every opportunity to travel the short distance from Bolzano to the Dolomites to pursue outdoor activities year round.
