Paul Felix Rigo
For Paul Rigo, the Dolomites aren't just a place to hike—they are a space for reflection, growth, and "mindful slowdown." Growing up on a small farm in Val Badia, his roots in the mountains run deep, but his path to becoming a guide was anything but traditional. With a background in philosophy, theology, and psychology, he spends his "office hours" as a professional leadership and business coach, helping clients navigate the complexities of human behavior. In 2013, he decided to bring his coaching skills to the great outdoors, realizing that the "mythical spirit" of the Dolomites is the perfect catalyst for helping people connect with their true selves. Now a certified UIMLA guide, Paul specializes in everything from technical climbing courses to kid-friendly via ferrata adventures. His favorite route is the legendary 1,000-meter Pichl-Kante on Sassolungo, but he is just as happy guiding a quiet trek through the pines. His philosophy remains the same: we are all part of the natural world, and there is no better time than the present to embrace its beauty.
Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.
