How to Ikon Pass and Epic Pass in the Dolomites
If you hold an Ikon Pass or an Epic Pass, you can use it on your ski trip with Dolomite Mountains. The Ikon Pass is valid at Dolomiti Superski, which includes, among others, Alta Badia, Val Gardena and Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Epic Pass is valid at Skirama Dolomiti, around Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino.
Please let us know if you have an Ikon or Epic Pass when you book. We will plan your ski days around it, so you do not pay for lift passes you already own.

Whatever pass you hold, Italian law requires third-party liability insurance for every day on the slopes. It can be bought online or at any ticket office.
Ikon Pass at Dolomiti Superski
With an Ikon Pass or Ikon Base Pass you ski without buying a Dolomiti Superski pass. Dolomiti Superski counts as one Ikon destination, so your days apply across all twelve ski areas, including the Sella Ronda:
- Cortina d’Ampezzo
- Kronplatz / Plan de Corones
- Alta Badia
- Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi
- Val di Fassa / Carezza
- Arabba / Marmolada
- 3 Zinnen Dolomites
- Val di Fiemme / Obereggen
- San Martino di Castrozza / Passo Rolle
- Gitschberg Jochtal / Brixen
- Alpe Lusia / San Pellegrino
- Civetta
The Ikon card goes straight to the lifts and works like a regular ski pass, according to Dolomiti Superski. It is accepted from mid-November to mid-April. Days do not need to be consecutive when you use your own card. A card issued at a ticket office, for example against a purchase voucher, is valid for consecutive days only.
Once your Ikon days are used up, any further ski days need a regular Dolomiti Superski pass. The Ikon Session Pass is not accepted.
Epic Pass at Skirama Dolomiti
The Epic Pass is not valid at Dolomiti Superski. In Italy it gives seven consecutive days at Skirama Dolomiti, in the Brenta Dolomites: Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Folgarida-Marilleva, Pejo, Pontedilegno-Tonale, Paganella, Monte Bondone and Alpe Cimbra. These areas are not connected by lifts to Alta Badia, Val Gardena or Cortina.
To ski, collect your lift tickets at a Skirama ticket office with your physical Epic Pass card and a photo ID. The My Epic app cannot be used at the lifts. Epic Local and Epic Day passes do not include Skirama Dolomiti.
Tell us about your pass
Your Ikon or Epic Pass covers lift access only. Guiding, transfers and luggage moves between hotels are arranged separately. When you share your pass type with us, we:
- schedule your ski days within your pass allowance;
- include a Dolomiti Superski pass only for the days your pass does not cover;
This applies to all our winter trips, from the On-Piste Skiing Safari and Hotel-Based Skiing to the Off-Piste Skiing Safari.
Have an Ikon or Epic Pass? Let us know when you enquire, along with the pass type (Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass or Epic Pass).
Pass rules are set by Ikon, Epic, Dolomiti Superski and Skirama Dolomiti and can change between seasons. Please check the current terms before you travel.
