Today you will discover the Cortina d’Ampezzo ski resort, with its 140 kilometers (87 miles) of slopes and 42 lifts. It is well-known all over the world not only for playing host to the first-ever televised Winter Olympics in the 1956, but also for its fashionable attire. This area offers some of the most exhilarating and beautiful alpine ski runs in the world. Today you will get to know its slopes, from the famous Olympia (where the men’s Olympic downhill events were held, and for many years a stage of the Women’s World Cup), to the superb Canalone (or Couloir in English, on which the women’s downhill Olympic events took place) and to the beautiful, but more tranquil slopes of Faloria and Cristallo.

After breakfast, reach the slopes at Son dei Prade-Pocol, in the Tofane ski area and take the connection lift to the Cinque Torri (Five Towers) ski area, from where you will start your adventure surrounded by some of the most impressive landmarks of the Dolomites. When you reach Passo Falzarego, you’ll take the Lagazuoi cable car, which arrives at an altitude of 2,800 meters (9,186') in just three minutes! Once you reach the top, stop to enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the terrace of the Rifugio Lagazuoi, famous throughout the world for its spectacular 360-degree views of the Dolomite peaks.
When you’re ready to descend, you’re in for a treat! The Armentarola slope unfolds along the foot of the imposing Fanes mountain, in an enchanting fairy-tale valley surrounded by majestic castles of rock and frozen waterfalls, making this magical descent an endless flow of thrills and surprises. And just like in the fairy tales, the run ends with a horse-drawn lift from where you can do it all again, or choose to move on to another fabulous adventure.
Tonight you’ll stay in a high mountain inn, or rifugio, the best in the all Alps! You’re sure to enjoy the welcoming environment, hearty cuisine, and camaraderie of your fellow skiers, but also first tracks tomorrow morning!

From your rifugio, ski down to the main road where a private transfer will take you to the Civetta ski area, in the heart of the Veneto Dolomites. This area offers a wide range of slopes (80km / 50 miles) and attracts skiers of all levels.Surrounded by plenty of uncontaminated views and majestic peaks, the valleys of Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Zoldo, and Palafavera of Monte Civetta are rich in history and tradition.
In the afternoon you will have the option to ski on relaxed slopes in the sun, as well as more challenging ones in the shade of the Col Margherita gondola, and to ski down to Passo San Pellegrino, and over to the opposite face towards Cima Uomo, with a view of the Pale di San Martino (1,467m / 4,813'). But the real highlight here is your rifugio tonight, where you will taste the typical, delicious cuisine of Trentino, accompanied by a rich choice of local wines. You will surely appreciate this renowned and traditional restaurant, mentioned in several culinary guides, not only for the quality of the food, but also and especially for the warmth and the welcoming hospitality.

From Passo San Pellegrino, a private transfer will take you to Passo Fedaia and Marmolada. Known as the “Queen of the Dolomites”, Marmolada is recognized as the highest peak of the Dolomites, reaching a height of 3,342 meters (10,965'), providing some of the most spectacular skiing experiences on earth. An incredible tour, it covers over 1,300 meters (4,265') in elevation and offers an astonishing 12 kilometer-long (7.5 mile-long) run. The Marmolada not only offers amazing ski adventures, but also provides some of the most beautiful views in the world and offers challenging off-piste skiing.
Another highlight of today is the Sellaronda Ski Tour that circumnavigates the majestic Sella Massif. Considered somewhat of a “merry-go-round” for intermediate level skiers, this unique circular connection of lifts and runs was once the only way the ancient inhabitants of the Ladin villages could maintain a connection with each other. Nowadays it’s a modern day carousel that connects four Dolomite passes and four Ladin valleys (Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, and Fodom). Today you will have the opportunity to ski half of the circuit. A private transfer at the end of your ski day will take you to the White Deer San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge.

Today you will discover another exciting ski resort in the Dolomites: Kronplatz. Also called Plan De Corones (in Italian), Kronplatz is a popular destination for skiers, with its majestic 2,275-meter (7,464') peak standing out from the surrounding mountains. On the top of a wooded area, along the south side of the Pusteria Valley, it offers a 360-degree panorama of the entire surroundings. In fact, the view from Kronplatz is one of the most beautiful in the Alps, and offers vistas across all points of the compass: from Austria’s Lienz Dolomites to the east, to Italy and Switzerland’s Ortler Group to the west, from the Dolomite’s Marmolada Massif to the south, and across the Puster Valley to the Zillertal Alps in the north. At the Concordia Bell there is a panoramic relief that shows the names of the peaks which make this area one of the most breath-taking in the whole world. 105 kilometers (65 miles) of pistes and more than 30 modern lifts, its slopes will take you towards Riscone (Brunico), San Vigilio di Marebbe, Valdaora, and Perca.
The Messner Mountain Museum "Corones," part of six-museum series dedicated to man’s relationship with the mountains, is set on the summit plateau of Mount Kronplatz. This, the final museum built, is dedicated to the lives of mountaineers and climbers. The buildings, mostly underground, was designed by the world renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The museum is accessible from the cable car at the top of Kronplatz.

A real snow paradise awaits you at easternmost resort of the Dolomiti Superski area, Alta Pusteria, set at the foot of the largest natural sundial made up by five Dolomite peaks: Cima Nove, Cima Dieci, Cima Undici, Cima Dodici and Cima Una. Here 82 kilometers (50.9 miles) of marvelous slopes with 31 lift facilities turn the breathtaking mountain world of the Dolomites of Sesto into a purely enjoyable experience for everybody from beginners to experts alike. Demanding skiers can choose the Holzriese slope, Italy’s steepest prepared slope and known as one of the steepest descents in the entire Alps chain, or the Raut slope at Monte Elmo, one of the most beautiful red slopes (medium difficulty) in the Dolomites, with fast and driven curves. Moreover, it is a popular place for spending romantic tobogganing and skiing evenings.
