Dolomites Ski Safari Experience – Group Departure

Arrive in Val Badia at your leisure (private transfer available on request) and check into your hotel. Set between 1,400 and 2,700 meters (4,593-8,858'), the Alta Badia ski area offers the perfect high-altitude playground for the start of your ski safari. Wide, fast slopes, efficient lift connections, and vast terrain create the ideal conditions to build rhythm and prepare for the days of continuous skiing ahead. Take the evening to settle in, meet the group, and get ready to hit the slopes. Dinner included at the hotel.

After breakfast, meet your local English-speaking UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide and set off to explore the Alta Badia ski area at a fast and continuous pace. Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano, Badia, and La Val form the heart of Dolomites winter skiing, the perfect terrain for those looking to push their limits. The focus of the day is performance: long runs, sustained rhythm, and maximum vertical. You will take on the legendary Gran Risa World Cup slope, one of the most technical and demanding runs in the Dolomites, testing your control, speed, and endurance on the same terrain as the world’s best athletes. Depending on conditions and energy levels, the day may also include linking multiple sectors of the resort, keeping a steady pace and covering as much ground as possible, with minimal stops and a strong focus on flow and progression.

After breakfast, start skiing towards Passo Pordoi and Arabba, building momentum as you move into one of the most powerful ski environments in the Dolomites. The goal of the day is to reach Marmolada, the highest peak in the region, where long, sustained descents and high-alpine terrain offer the perfect setting for strong, continuous skiing. Here you will take on La Bellunese, a demanding 12km / 39,370’ run, a true endurance test and one of the longest descents in the Dolomites. A defining stage of the ski safari, where distance, elevation, and performance come together.

After the Marmolada highlight, keep the momentum going with a short transfer to Alleghe and step into the wide-open terrain of the Civetta ski area. This is a day built for flow and distance: long, fast runs across multiple valleys, linking sectors at a steady pace while maximizing vertical and minimizing stops. The varied terrain allows you to maintain rhythm and push further, surrounded by some of the most dramatic and untouched landscapes of the Dolomites. In the afternoon, transfer towards the Cinque Torri and Lagazuoi area, setting the stage for the next chapter of your ski adventure.

Your final day on skis delivers a true Dolomites grand finale. Starting from the Cinque Torri area, you will build rhythm towards Passo Falzarego and ascend rapidly to Lagazuoi, reaching high alpine terrain (2,800m / 9,186') in just minutes. From here, the experience shifts into one of the most iconic descents in the Dolomites: the Armentarola. A long, flowing run through a dramatic landscape of towering rock formations and frozen waterfalls, where maintaining control becomes part of the thrill. This is a day to enjoy the full expression of the ski safari: distance, flow, and unforgettable scenery, before a private transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo and dinner at your leisure. A fitting and memorable end to an intense and rewarding journey on skis.
