Martina, who was born in San Candido and raised in Cortina d'Ampezzo, has a deep connection to the Dolomites and a strong interest in their unique workings. She holds a bachelor's degree in languages for tourism and business from the Università di Trento and a master's in tourism destination management from Breda University of Applied Sciences, a pairing that gave her the tools to connect with people from everywhere and the systems thinking to understand how great destinations come together.
Before joining the Dolomite Mountains team, she worked in hotel reception and served as a delegation coordinator for the Winter Olympics Milano-Cortina 2026. This experience sharpened her ability to manage complex logistics while keeping a human touch. She came to work for Dolomite Mountains because she was drawn to the concept behind the company, seeing it as an opportunity to help people from around the world discover the region she knows and loves while also better understanding the process of creating an itinerary, from planning to execution.
Martina is an energetic person who finds joy in being active, spending her free time trail running, gravel biking, hiking, and swimming. Passo Giau in the Dolomites is one of her favorite places, thanks to its spectacular views and atmosphere, and she never tires of the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. She traveled across Europe as a child alongside her mother, who ran marathons, and later to Southeast Asia and Australia, where she studied and discovered how much travel can be so enriching and open one's perspective. She dreams of South America next. For Martina, people should come to the Dolomites for the fresh mountain air, the food, the culture, and outdoor activities. And the fact that each valley, whether it be Cortina, Alta Badia, or South Tyrol, has its own distinct character and traditions.
